The Divine Story of Maa's Emergence
In Satyug, a catastrophic storm threatened to destroy the universe. On Lord Shiva's advice, Lord Vishnu performed intense tapasya at Haridra Sarovar in Saurashtra. Moved by His devotion, Maa Baglamukhi emerged from the golden waters and stilled the storm with one command. Since then She is worshipped as the Goddess of Stambhan.
